TERMS OF AGREEMENT Dog's name:_____________________ Sex:______AKC#_____________ Color:___________Whelped:_____________ Date of sale:___________ Purchaser's name_________________________________________ Address_________________________________Phone:____________ INTERLOCHEN LABRADORS guarantees that this dog has received the 1st of it's series of inoculations for infectious disease and has been treated for internal parasites. INTERLOCHEN LABRADORS guarantees this dog to be functionally sound. Should this dog become functionally unsound from a hereditary problem during the first two (2) years of it's life (unable to live a normal, active life) INTERLOCHEN LABRADORS will replace this dog with a dog of similar monetary value and quality. This dog may be replaced at anytime the purchaser chooses within 5 years after the date the breeder is notified there is a problem. Veterinarian report is required. There is no replacement cost. Six (6) months advance notice of the request for replacement is required. Because this is a family member, the unsound dog does not need to be returned, but must be spayed, neutered, or euthanized and must not have been bred for this contract to be valid. All dogs must carry the kennel name of INTERLOCHEN as the first eleven (11) letters on the AKC registration form for contract to be valid. Accidents and other illnesses are not included in this guarantee Purchasers agree to have the dog seen by a veterinarian within 48 hours for a general health check and to have a complete inoculation schedule set up. Purchaser assumes full responsibility for the health care of this dog after 48 hours. All dogs, in a litter, from INTERLOCHEN LABRADORS are sold for the same price. All dogs going to pet homes will be placed on limited registration. If, for some reason, this dog is used as a breeding animal without the breeder's knowledge and approval the puppies from said breeding would not be eligible for registration with the AKC. Purchaser agrees to provide a safe environment for the dog, to include a fenced yard or kennel. It is understood that this is to be a companion/house dog. If for some reason purchaser is unable to care for this dog due to unusual circumstances. the dog must be returned to the breeder. Ownership must be transferred to breeder at the time of return. The purchaser understands that the breeder will try to recoup some of the purchaser's investment in the placement of the dog but the ultimate goal will be a suitable home and not monetary reimbursement.
